The FIVB held a press conference before the finals at the center court in Stavanger, with only praise for the tournament and the people behind it. 126.000 paying spectators have been to the matches. More than 300.000 have been watching the matches around on the courts in Vaagen, making it the best ever. More than 180 nations have shown televised pictures from the event, and many more records have been broken.
